Leo Parent is a photographer originally from the south of France, currently based in Paris.

His work is uniquely drawn to abandoned places, to which he harbors an inexplicable fascination. He actively seeks and explores these locations by traversing France and during his travels.

However, his work is more intimately connected to environmentally oriented portraits staged through conceptual settings, fueled by his ideas and expressing his thoughts.

After completing his research master's degree in philosophy, pondering on the nature of belief and the various imaginary worlds stemming from ancient mythologies as well as contemporary narratives (literature, cinema, media) that could be not only possible but also viable in the face of climate change, Leo decided to pursue his thesis on the future existence of humanity. This research is encapsulated in a photographic project titled "Le temps d'avant et d'après les hommes" (The Time Before and After Humans).

In order to finance his project, he then transitioned into the field of computer science and cybersecurity, establishing himself in the capital. This new life will allow him to truly experience and address one aspect of his project, recounting a dystopian tale of civilization through a love story set in a futuristic city.
